I came across your blog entirely by accident. I’m a professional photographer. I was quite taken by some of your pictures. You have talent, more than you may realize, and should get training. Although I am sure Harvard (my father’s Alma Mater) has an excellent program, you might want to take some workshops at the New England School of Photography over in Kenmore Square.
Are you familiar with Martin Parr? Your pictures of food reminded me of his.
What camera and lens were you using?
Similarly to Ned, came across your blog by an indirect route (google news email about Hong Kong).
Enjoyed your reflective view of HK, have you visited Kowloon and the NT areas? That’s another different perspective of HK life other than HK Island.
I’m in the same boat as the two people who commented before me. I was “Tag Surfing” [Hong Kong] and came across your blog. The photographs are beautiful and so pleasing to the eyes… but most of all it makes me extremely anxious for a study abroad excursion that I am hoping for in the coming Spring. I’m so envious. ALSO- 1) I’m also Vegetarian! 2) I also can only speak Cantonese! and 3) We chose the same layout. Hahah, just thought I’d say hello and acknowledge our shared brain waves.
